a graduate of vocal music from the Music Department, Capital Teachers University and has been engaged in teaching vocal music and piano in China and Auckland. Maggie has been a soloist in China Peace Theatrical Troupe, a prizewinner of the All-China Singers’ TV competition and having organized as well as performed in numerous arts festivals in China.

holds a Postgraduate Diploma of Teaching from Auckland College of Education. While in China, she was a lecturer of music at Shanghai Normal University
and several of the students she taught were first prizewinners in Shanghai TV Singing Competition. Jane has been performing and teaching singing and piano for over 20 years. Jane has been an organizer and artistic director for many concerts in Auckland. She is currently a performing member of the Auckland Clef Music Club and Lieder Group.

Mary Mitchelson,

She was a pupil of Dame Sister Mary Leo for 13 years. She studied with Francis Wilson and resumed her singing career in 1990. In 1991 she was soprano soloist in the Bach Magnificat presented by Cantus Firmus and Extempore Plus. In the same year she joined the Auckland Opera. In 1991 she performed in "La Boheme" with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. In 1992 she performed with Dame Malvina Major in "New Zealanders at Aotea" and in 1993 she performed with Noel Mangin in Auckland Opera's "Tower Opera Concert".

Meng Meng Zhang,

She ranked a first class singer in China, was born in Innermongolia and graduated from China Conservatory of Music in 1990. Meng Meng has performed at grand festivals held by CCTV and local TV stations and won various prizes in singing competitions in China. She is the founder of School of Chinese Culture and Arts in Auckland, where she is the headmistress as well as principal teacher of vocal music.

He was lead tenor in Hong Kong Chang Feng Chorus and has sung in the HKG Arts Festival, Asian Arts Festival, "The Yellow River Cantata" and "Zheng He's Expedition". After immigrating to NZ, he joined AKL Bel Canto Choir, studying vocal music with Duncan Zhang and James Meng, now actively singing with Show West and MAA.

a professional tenor who has been performing since 1990. He was selected for the Dame Malvina Major Emerging Artist Program of NBR NZ Opera in 2000. He has sung as a soloist and a chorus member in over ten operas. He has sung with Dame Malvina Major on several occasions including the NBR Stadium Spectacular concert in Wellington, “From Carmen to Carmina” in Auckland and an outdoor performance in Dunedin in the 90s and 2000.

As a singer and dancer, Sunny has had more than 10 years’ performing experience and has performed three times in Japan. Since immigrating to New Zealand, she has gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from UNITEC, Auckland, and has been a compere, singer and dancer at various functions for the past 4 years. In addition, she is a choreographer.

Gordon Guo Chen Wang,
Conductor
Gordon loves choruses. He has been conducting for 50 years. He conducted the Beijing College students singing the Yellow River Cantata in the 1950's. From the 90's he was one of the presidents and conductors of the Yuying & Bridgeman High Schools Alumni Chorus in Beijing who performed in Hong Kong and Macau. The above chorus traveled as far as Germany and built a strong relationship with local affiliations.
For the past 10 years, Gordon's conducting has been applauded by his conducting mentor - Professor Huang Fei Li who was one of the pioneers of conductor education and the head of the Conducting Department of Central Music Conservatory in Beijing

Li Fen: graduated from Vocality Performing Department of Xian Institute of Music China in 2005, was taught by Prof. Zhou Ling (studied Vocality in Italy for 6 years), who instructs master-degree students at the Institute.
After graduation, Li worked in the Music Department of China, Nanyang Institute of Technology as a vocal teacher and a director of vocal performance office.
