| The Music Association of Auckland (MAA) was established to use music as a bridge to facilitate communication among members and promote friendship with people of other ethnic origins. MAA aims at developing diversity of the culture in New Zealand through its performances and by exchanging eastern and western views on music.

China is located in the East, for millions of years, the Yellow River and the Yangtze River have traversed this land like two STRINGS on their musical instruments, which has cultivated China's vibrant and diverse musical culture, exemplified by a dazzling array of Chinese musical instruments.
MAA would like one STRING to showcase The Yellow River Cantata accompany by piano, and the other STRING to exhibit oriental music from our choir, Chinese and Western instrumental ensemble.
